Your mobile number will not work, will be issued from July 1, 13 digit number
If you are using a 10 digit mobile number, but customers who take the new number from July 1, 2018 will get a 13 digit mobile number. The government is preparing for this. The Central Ministry of Communication has issued notices to all the states for this. According to media reports, BSNL (Indian Communications Corporation Limited) has started preparations for this. The meeting took place in Delhi in the last few days, after which this decision was taken.
This will be replaced in due number:
According to media reports, officials of the telecommunications department at the meeting said that there is no hope of issuing a new number in the 10-digit level. The number has changed before:
Let me tell you, when the telecommunications ministry has made such a decision. Prior to this, in November 2002, the telephone number of all the countries was imposed, due to which the telephone numbers changed, in which the number of telephone used in metropolitan cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai increased from 7 points to 8. While the number of telephone numbers in tier-2 cities was 7 points from 6 digits
Command to update system:
According to the Department of Telecommunications, all the telecom operators will have to update their system due to the new series of mobile numbers. Telecommunication companies have issued the order in all the circles regarding this. According to a senior official of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd, the old number processing will be updated as of December 2018. However, the process will start in October and will be completed by December 31.
