The country's largest bank, Indian State Bank, has announced on its official Twitter handle @TheOfficialSBI that, in the SBI, the Prime Minister's Jnanana Yojana (PMJDY) account is 26% more than the accounts opened under any scheme in any public sector bank. According to the portal of SBI, Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana is a national mission to facilitate financial transactions ie banking, savings account, remittance, credit, insurance and pension facility.
SBI has also said that it is not necessary to have any kind of Minimal Balance in the public sector. Let us know about the advantages and benefits that the SBI has received from the Joint Planning Department.
Such benefits come from village to city
Like other government schemes, SBI's Janshan account gives benefit to every family in the village instead of the entire village. The goal of this scheme is to provide benefits to the villages in urban areas as well.
There are some special benefits to the PMJDY account in SBI. Such as interest on deposits, accident insurance of Rs. 1 lakhs, life insurance cover up to Rs. 30 thousand rupees. Apart from this, the facility can be easily accessed by transfer of money, pension and other services.
Zero can be opened in balances
PMJDY account does not require Minimum Balance to open a PMJDY account in SBI. However, in order to withdraw money from another bank's ATM and keep the balance in the card, you have to keep a little money in the account. In the opened account under the PMJDY scheme, the interest rate applied to the savings account (currently 4% in most banks) is also available. You can also open a joint account in SBI's Public Account.
It is not necessary to open a separate account
You can open an account under the Prime Minister Jana Yojana in any SBI branch of the country. If your account is already in a bank, it is not necessary to open a new account under PMJDY. For the benefit of the insurance plan, you should take the card in your existing bank account. Credit facility can also be increased if your existing bank account is operating regularly.
Provide a support number for account security
You will be given a sum of Rs 5000 per family under the Prime Minister Jana Yojna, which is managed by the SBI for 6 months. Need a support base in the bank to avoid any kind of difficulty. If there is no Aadhaar number, then the bank is more cautious about its customers.
Expect when the account can be transferred
The Prime Minister is on a platform of all the CBS (Core Banking Solution) participants in the Jan Dhan Yojana, so that the bank account can easily be transferred to the bank of any city or village according to the account holder's wish. In SBI, only 20 rupees have to be paid for opening an account under the Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana.
