Demand for retirement age of employees in Gujarat is 60 years

After deciding to increase the retirement age of the state government from 60 to 62 years in Madhya Pradesh, the demand for increase in the retirement age limit from 58 to 60 years has become strong.
It is to be mentioned that more than 30% of the seats are vacant in all the departments of the state government, employees have more than two to three tables except for themselves and in the next year 2020-21, a large number of employees are yet to retire. Gopal Pandya and Rajesh Patel of Gujarat State employee Mahanandal have said that the present recruitment is very low compared to the vacant number, the Chief Minister has said that retirement age limit should be increased with the government retiring 58 years of retirement.
Central employees are also 60 years old, and in many states of India, the retirement age of the employees is 60 years. Recently, 60 to 62 years of age has been retired in Madhya Pradesh, the state government has been pending the proposal to retire the retirement age of the Gujarat government for 60 years but no decision has been taken so far so that the urgency has been sought by the Mahan Mandal.
