There is no need to panic. There is a simple way for this. If you have a Permanent Account Number, you can get information on whether you will get an income tax notice or not.
The PAN is credited with the tax profile
A person's PAN is tax-profile profile. The Central Government also checks the tax profile in your calculating minutes from the pen number whether you have filed an income tax return or not. Then the government starts investigating how much your income is and if you do not steal tax, you do not do it somewhere.
Will not you notice? Check it out like that
Going to the Income Tax Department website, you can check whether your return process has happened or not. If you have filed a return and your refund has not been processed, it means that the Income Tax department may send you a notice. You must have a login ID and password to access the website. If you do not have a login ID, you will have to register yourself on the website.
Check the tax return record
You can check whether you have any Income Tax Return Pending by going to the Income Tax Department's website. Income tax returns should be filed as per the rule. If you file a return and show it pending in the Income Tax Department's records, you may get notice of income tax department. You may also get notice of income tax department even if no refund is filed. The notice asks why you do not file a tax return.
Learn about your TDS this way
You can view Form 26AS by going to the Income Tax Department website. This form contains details about how much TDS has been deducted from your PAN. In this way you will be projected how much your TDS has been copied and how much tax you have to pay.
