Seven salary wages of the Government of Gujarat employees and pensioners will be available in cashMeranews Online

Maranews Network.Gandhinagar: The news of happiness for the employees of Gujarat government and pensioners. In the Legislative Assembly today, Deputy Chief Minister announced that the remaining seventh pay staff of the employees and pensioners will be paid in the coming time. It is worth mentioning that the payment of arrears of Seventh Pay Commission will cover the crores of rupees to the government treasury.
In the Gujarat Legislative Assembly today, under rule 44, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel made a statement on the remaining arrivals of employees and pensioners of seventh pay panchayat. He said that 4.65 lakh employees of the state have to give arrears of seventh pay commission from 1-1-2016. While 1.12 lakh pensioners are due to give these arrears from 10-10-2016.
The amount of these arrears will be paid by the state government in cash in three installments. The first installment in March 2018, the second installment May, 2018 and the third installment will be paid in July 2018. In the first installment, the employees will get Rs 852.78 crore and pensioners will get Rs 340.48 crore. Thus, in the first installment, 1193.26 crore arrears will be paid.
