Many things are changing in the new year. If these changes sometimes save you, some things will be burdened on your pocket. Where the debit card and Bhim App are getting payment on the one hand and getting cashback, on the other hand, cars and bikes are getting expensive. So, let's know about some of the changes since January 1.

Payment by debit card will be cheaper
In the new year, the debit card, Bhima app, UPI and the payment of a payment of up to 2,000 rupees will not be charged for any type of payment by the Aadabelled payment system. Because now the government will suffer the merchant discount rate.

Cars and bikes will be expensive
Car and bike companies are increasing prices for the new year. Maruti Suzuki has raised almost 22 thousand rupees on all models. Toyota, Skoda and Mahindra have hiked almost 3% in the price of Rs 20,000 to the Volkswagen, Tata Motors and Honda at Rs 25,000. Two wheelers will be expensive even today.

Small savings schemes will get less interest
Smaller savings plans than January 1 will now get 0.2 percent interest lower. In the January-March quarter, interest of 7.6 per cent on NSC and PPF, 7.3 per cent interest on Kisan Vikas Patra and 8.1 per cent interest on Sukanya prosperity. However, the interest rate on 8.3% of the senior citizen savings scheme is restricted.

GST: The e-way bill required for supply in another state
The e-bill will be applicable from 1st February. This bill will be required to take goods from one state to another. This bill will be applicable for supply within the state from 1st June. The format of this bill will be available from January 15. After that, businessmen will use it as a trial for two weeks.

Do not run SBI checkbook
The check book for banks merged with SBI from January 1 will no longer be valid. These banks include State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Travancore and Indian Women Bank.
